Good Idea Gone Bad
I moved to Asia. They have sex clubs and escort entertainer clubs but not strip clubs. Females are greatly discouraged as guests. Oh well,

I Completely Forgot....about this blog.
It looks like I started it, and then my husband went out of the country soon after. I know I stopped going to strip clubs while he was gone. I went once and it just wasn't as much fun. As a girl alone I got picked up on by guys and "trolled" by the girls too much. I was more of a target.
Now, we live out of the country. SE Asia specifically. They don't have strip clubs here. They do have go go bars. But depending on what country you are in...women are not welcome. It's taboo and really, just seems to make the girls seem uncomfortable. So this blog is taking a hiatus. Back when I can go to strip clubs again!

The Viewpoint
Formally knows as "Cleopatra's Viewpoint" this club is larger inside than it appears from outside. Located on a busy corner of Killingsworth and NE 82nd, it seems to be a favorite of locals.
This used to be the place, one of the only ones I am told, that had male strippers but they have since cancelled that option. It has a shady reputation for some alleged prostitution busts in the past but hey, what strip club doesn't have those rumors?
There is often a small entry fee, $5 to $7 dollars, or more if it is a special event. This is not every day however.
On the night I first went here it was the first night of the first "annual" Pole Erotica contest. We arrived early thinking, mistakenly, that it would be hard to find a seat. We ended up being there for about five hours, three hours more than we had intended. It was worth it. The performances were great. The bar staff friendly. The chairs were super comfy. The bathroom was TINY and didn't really lock. You can't have it all I guess.
As you enter, the club has completely gotten rid of stairs. It is only a long ramp for easy wheel chair access. How thoughtful! Well, legally required but still, well done.
There are three stages and a private room for lap dances. Those cost either $20 or $40, clothes on or off. The bar is well stocked and appropriately priced with decent tap choices and daily specials. There is food available, not that I am thinking anyone SHOULD eat at a strip club....
Tip your waitress well and she will FEROCIOUSLY defend your comfy, overstuffed, wing back chair for you when you step up to the rack. Ours told someone who was trying to take our table to "back the fuck off, this table is occupied."
The resident girls were all very pretty and it was a nice variety. The "lead girl" was quite hot. However, this night, due to the competition, it was hard to make tips as there were about 6 "guest girls." They sure all tried pretty hard to make up the difference! I can't tell you if pole work is a specialty here as the night we went was a pole dance competition so everyone was "practicing."
Be alert, if you are at the rack and tip a girl, be prepared to support her weight on your shoulders or thighs as they are welcome to touch you and will. Usual rules for you apply, DON'T TOUCH BACK.
Security was polite, even almost uninterested. There is an open area, semi-covered, for smokers, out front, exit and reentry through the main door.
I like this place.

Who the Hell am I?
I go to strip clubs as a couple with my husband most of the time. But sometimes I don't. I like to evaluate them based on comfort, booze selection, girl attractiveness, staff surliness and customer satisfaction perks. I like to think that one day I will own one and would love for it to satisfy employee and employer and customer ideals.
As mentioned, I also like to plan what I would do if I owned a strip club so when I go to one I am also checking out what about the club itself I don't like. What other customers seem to complain about. Why do the girls who work there like it? What would they like if they could have anything? How is the staff treated?
I really do like strip clubs. I really do like strippers. I am wise to the tricks so it is fun to just look and watch and sometimes chat with them. I know what I am there for, they know what I am there for, there are no nasty surprises. I am not interested in "dating" a stripper, or "saving a ho." I like to look at naked chicks, I don't mind paying a little bit to do so.
I haven't quite worked out a "rating" system yet but I will get there. For now, it's just reporting.
